| Customer / originator |
Whoever sends calls to your switch. Matched by the IP address the calls come from. |
| Terminator |
Where calls leave your switch: one SIM port on a GSM gateway, or one SIP carrier. |
| Port |
One SIM slot on a GSM gateway. In Routyx each port is its own terminator, with its own login, limits and statistics. |
| Routing group |
The list of terminators a customer’s calls may use, and the order or way they are used. |
| Sub-group |
A part of a routing group for numbers that start with a given prefix, for example 234 for Nigeria. |
| Rate sheet |
Prices, one row per destination prefix: what the customer pays, and what the call costs you. |
| Prefix |
The first digits of a dialled number. The longest matching prefix decides the price and the sub-group. |
| CLI |
The caller’s number (who is calling). |
| CLD |
The dialled number (who is being called). |
| CC |
Concurrent calls: how many calls can be up at the same moment. |
| CPS |
Calls per second: how many new calls can start each second. |
| ASR |
Answer-seizure ratio: the share of calls that were answered. |
| ACD |
Average call duration of the answered calls. |
| PDD |
Post-dial delay: the time from sending a call to hearing it ring. |
| CDR |
Call detail record: one row per call on the Calls page. |
| Margin |
What the customer paid minus what the call cost you. |
| Rule |
An automation rule: when something happens on a port, do something and tell you. |
| Cooldown |
How long a rule waits before it may fire again for the same port. |
| CallXML |
Small scripts that run on a customer’s or a port’s calls: checks, reject, HTTP requests. |
| Registration |
A port or carrier logging in to your switch with a user and password, so the switch knows where to send calls. |
