First login and the panel

What you receive when your switch is ready

Section titled “What you receive when your switch is ready”

We send you one message with three things. Keep it; the rest of this guide refers to it.

What Looks like Used for
Panel address a web address starting with https:// signing in to the panel
Your login an email and a password the first sign-in
Switch SIP address a host name or an IP address, with its SIP port (usually 5060, UDP) what your gateways, carriers and customers send calls to

In this guide, “the switch address we sent you” always means the third line.

  1. Open the panel address we sent you when your switch was ready.
  2. Enter the email and password from the same message.
  3. You land on Live.

Every login is a full administrator. Anyone you give a login to can change and delete everything, including prices and billing. Give logins only to people you trust with money.

The rail on the left has seven sections. Some sections have several pages, shown as tabs along the top.

Section What it is for
Live Calls up right now, today’s ASR, ACD and margin, and a Needs you list of things that want your attention
Calls Every call, one row each, with the reason it ended. Click a row to see the whole story of the call
Customers The customers who send you calls (the panel also calls them originators)
Routes Your SIM ports and SIP carriers (the panel also calls them terminators) and your routing groups
Rules Automation rules, what they did today, and number lists
Money Rates, billing accounts, margin and invoices
Settings Users, CallXML scripts and the switch’s own settings
  • Ctrl K (⌘ K on a Mac) opens search. Type a page name, such as terminators, and press Enter. Paste a phone number and it opens Calls filtered on that number.
  • ⓘ next to any setting explains it.
  • The sun/moon button switches between the light and dark theme.

The panel has its own Guide page (Ctrl K → guide). Its first-setup checklist ticks itself as you add your first port, routing group, rate and customer, so it always shows what is left to do.
